Beach Babies Kidsale is proud to be a part of the Myrtle Beach community. Over the past three years, our consignors have donated more than $50,000 worth of items to local charities including Fostering Hope, Birthright of Georgetown, CASA, and Teach My People. We have also partnered with local families in need.
At the close of each sale, Beach Babies Kidsale will partner with a local community organization for donations of unsold items. Each consignor can either pick up their unsold items at the end of the sale or they may choose to donate all or part of their items to the charity.
"Teach My People is recognized as a high-quality, no cost, after school and summer program that provides daily academic and hoomework assistance, reading enrichment, character development, cultural and spiritual enrichment, physical activity, and a hot nutrious meal."
"Birthright of Georgetown is a pregnancy crisis center that offers alternatives to abortion
to women of all color and economic status. We offer to all women, who find
themselves in the situation of an unplanned pregnancy, a haven that offers love,
understanding and support in a nonjudgmental way as well as a confidential
environment. Birthright is unique in that it has no paid staff—it is operated entirely by
volunteers. Many of the women we see have significant material needs. Within the
limitation of our funds we provide layettes, diapers, baby clothes, maternity clothes and
hygiene products for both baby and mom for one year. Birthright of Georgetown has
become a true Outreach Center to pregnant women who are at poverty or near poverty
levels. We also focus on education and aid in various ways to help our clients complete
and add to theirs. We all know that education is the essential tool for leading our clients
out of the road of poverty and dependence on others. At the present time, we have
252 adult clients and 80 teen clients, many who are in school."
